Welcome to our first BettyBetBet Bulletin, we launched to the public a little over a week ago and you’re really getting into things. So far real grassroots football clubs have raised a total of £749.50 for their causes – well done.
This is what BettyBetBet is all about, giving back to the community that enables our favourite sport to continue to grow! A great start and we’re all over the moon at BettyHQ Lets see what we can hit by the end of our first month!
Now then the juicy bit, with or users up and down the country we can see how you’re all thinking and playing. For our opening weekend we saw that 53% of you picked Liverpool vs Bournemouth – a good call seeing that they won 3-0. However, those that did pick the reds you won’t be able to pick them again. 19.5% of players that weekend picked poorly and got kicked out – sucks to be them!
This weekend just gone saw some interesting games with Spurs beating United 3-0 and Fernandez getting carded. Nobody picked either side, although we’re sure after United’s appearance there are a few wishing they did.
Now remember in last-man standing, lose or draw and you’re out! This gameweek we’ve had numerous draws with both Magpies vs City and Bees vs Hammers, both finishing in 1 all results. But this week the biggest losers picked Villa in their game against Ipswich which finished in 2 all results. This knocked out 37% of our players, making this our first Kingslayer. Sorry guys, do better next time. Combining that with the 1% of players that picked Brentford and we’ve lost 38% of our players this week.
All this means we’ll have an exciting gameweek as each of our games draws closer to crowning their first King of the Hill.
