This weekend’s Premier League action saw mixed results for several clubs, with some exhilarating clashes. On Saturday, Palace hosted Liverpool, but the scousers,  narrowly edged them out 1-0 to keep up their strong early-season form. At the Emirates, the Gunners secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over the visiting Saints of Southampton. Meanwhile, Brentford were involved in a goal fest against Wolves, which concluded in a thrilling encounter of 5-3. It’s true that game results don’t show the full story of a match, and Brentford completely dominated this game, a prayer answered for the 2% of our King of the Hill players that picked the Bees this week.

Leicester squeezed out a 1-0 win over Bournemouth. Only 1% of our players picked Leciester this week, and well done to those that did as they’re through. Over in Manchester, City managed a tight 3-2 win against Fulham. This must be a blessing for the 27% of King of the Hill players who picked City to win this match. The Hammers displayed their strength with a resounding 4-1 triumph over Ipswich Town, while Everton played out a goalless stalemate with the visiting Magpies of Newcastle United​.

Sunday’s matches kicked off with a hard-fought draw at Villa Park, where Manchester United couldn’t find a breakthrough, ending 0-0. Stamford Bridge witnessed a tight battle between Chelsea and Forest, concluding in a 1-1 draw. 27% of our players this week picked Chelsea meaning that with this draw they’re out.

The final game of the weekend saw Brighton pull off an impressive comeback to edge out  Spurs 3-2.
